A natural blend of sand deposited by nature and then skillfully carved into a modern sculptural piece, which will enhance any garden.  Each sphere is made from one solid piece of sandstone.

Legend has it that many centuries ago the northern Indian province of Rajastan experienced the worst monsoon to ever hit the region causing massive destruction.  Just when it looked like all hope was lost Hanuman the monkey god brought the sun. The monsoon subsided and a huge rainbow appeared in the sky above.  The locals say that the rainbow ended at the place where the sandstone is currently quarried.  This rainbow gave the pale sandstone its vibrant colours and of course its name. A note should be made that geologists have suggested the colours are given by different minerals in the sand blown from the desert creating a beautiful aerolic sandstone. We however, favour the rainbow legend.
