Build a very large fire in your fire pit about 1 to 1.5 hours before you want to start cooking. The larger and hotter the fire, the better for heating the warming oven. Ensure that the pizza oven door is closed and remains closed as you build the fire up. Opening the pizza oven door during this process will release the heat and prevent the oven reaching a high enough temperature for cooking.
