Silverland Stone is an easy-to-use online shop which specialises in a wide range of decorative products, specialised aggregates and stone.

What is the lead time for delivery?

If the product is in stock we usually can deliver 5-7 working days from order. If the product is not in stock please ask a member of staff as the majority of our products come from overseas.

Do you charge for delivery?

The price of delivery depends on the location we are delivering to. Please ask staff for a price.

What is the size of the lorry used?

Our lorries are 18 tonnes – about the size of a rubbish collection lorry (Please see below dimensions). The driver will need to extend a crane leg 2 metres out on one side to stabilize the lorry.

Please let us know if there are any restrictions for delivery. The vehicle must have clear access to the property. If the driver is unable to access the property and the delivery needs to be rescheduled, you will have to pay a redelivery fee.

How are the goods delivered?

The product will be delivered on a pallet, crate or bulk bag. This will then be craned off the lorry using a hi-ab. We are only insured to provide a roadside delivery. Therefore it is down to the driver's discretion as to whether the lorry can go onto your driveway and a wavier will need to be signed. Delivery drivers are unable to carry the materials through to your back garden and items cannot be craned over cars.

Can I ask for an exact time of delivery?

Our delivery drivers can deliver anytime between 8am and 4pm on your chosen delivery day. We do not provide tracking on our lorries and cannot guarantee an exact time. If you call on the morning of your delivery we will be able to narrow down a delivery time slot. This may vary due to traffic etc.

Does someone need to be in to receive the delivery?

We recommend that someone is on site just in case the driver needs directions or help accessing the property. However this is not mandatory.


Please check before ordering the dimensions of bagged, palletised goods and of the vehicles transporting them, as we cannot be held liable for non-delivery related to access or safety implications. If in doubt, measure up.

A guide on deliveries

Should you request that the delivery vehicle leaves the public highway to make the delivery, it is your responsibility to ensure that the access is suitable for a heavy vehicle. Neither the company nor the carrier can be held responsible or liable for any damages to property during delivery arising because of unsuitable access.

Goods will be delivered via the below method, and the delivery charge will vary according to postcode.

It is imperative that your delivery address will allow loads to be delivered to a flat and solid surface (not gravelled). You will also need to ensure there is appropriate access space for the delivery vehicle itself (see below).

Bagged goods will be supplied on pallets with dimensions as follows.

Bulk bags approx 750kg-800kg – Mini bags approx 20kg (50 x 20kg’s per pallet)

Loose Loads

Loose loads will be delivered on an 8 wheeler tipper (unless otherwise specified) and will need access for the below dimensions:

Returning goods to the company:

Please contact our customer support team by email at info@silverlandstone.co.uk.

If you wish to cancel the contract with the company within the seven day cooling-off period as detailed in our terms and conditions paragraph 4.1, the company will process the refund due to you as soon as possible upon return of the goods to the company. In this case, the company will refund the price of the goods in full, subject to the following:

  • (i) you will be responsible for the haulage costs for delivering the product to you.
  • (ii) you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to the company.

For any other reason, the company will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. The Company will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day the company confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund. Goods returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and any reasonable costs incurred by you in returning the item to the Company.
